Nigerian musician, Divine Ikubor who is known as Rema earlier today called out Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Neptune, dragging him through the mud.
The call-out was a result of DJ Neptune releasing a song that featured Rema and according to Rema, DJ Neptune didn’t follow due process.
This has prompted several reactions from social media users including some prominent media personalities and one of these personalities is OAP Dotun.
In his reaction, OAP Dotun urged Rema to try and find out better ways to approach certain things like what happened. The post he made reads;
“I love Rema alot. I hosted his first ever listening. He just needs to find a better approach on things like this. You all recorded this together, we were not there.
He also needs to address things with his representatives. Trust me, this won’t be more than a mere miscommunication.”
Reacting to the media personality’s post, Rema gave details saying;
“OG we didn’t record it together, neither was I paid, neither did I sign any document, neither did the producer ask for my consent before releasing my stems.
I was crossed, I’m not a hot head, I’m just a kid vouching for my Art that’s all, I’m not a disrespectful person.”
