“we have been through a lot”- Shade Okoya opens up on her marriage after 25 years, role in Eleganza

Shade Okoya recently shared in an interview with Anne Nwaghodoh from Channels Television about her strong bond with her husband, Are Rasaq Okoya.

She spoke about her love and respect for him, calling him her support system and promising to always uphold his reputation and business.

Shade also emphasized the importance of trust in their relationship and expressed gratitude on behalf of their family for his positive influence.

Shade mentioned that she enjoys social events and dressing up, and works at Eleganza Monday through Friday, reserving Saturdays for social activities. She praised Eleganza for being a popular household name.

“My husband is my everything. When you see both of us together, our relationship is beyond husband and wife. We’ve been through a lot together. I pray he lives many more years because he’s my backbone. I have always given him all the respect and will never tarnish his image. My generation will forever be grateful to him and I pray God will help us to see through what we intent to do for him,” she said partly.
