“We have helped Mr Ibu in the past, but since it’s a recurring illness, he has to sort himself out” – Kate Henshaw on behalf of AGN

The public relations officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), popular actress Kate Henshaw, responds to charges by Mr Ibu’s wife that the organization has not been of assistance to him.‎

The seasoned actress stressed that the organization has never failed to assist its members in times of financial need or medical emergency.

She refuted the falsehood spread by Mr Ibu’s wife, stating that the Guild has been assisting the actor during his illness since 2021.

According to Kate Henshaw, the guild can only do so much in cases of recurring malaise, and it is now up to the individual to try to sort oneself out by obtaining more monies for his or her health.

She said in part;

“Let me state categorically and vehemently that AGN has been of help to Mr Ibu. I do understand that she is at her wit’s end; anybody would be, but to say AGN lied isn’t true”.
