Alhaji Muhammad Sabo, a 95-year-old man, has raised eyebrows after getting married to an underage girl .
On May 5, 2023, at Dogon Ruwa under Gawu in the Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Abuja, it was reportedly the wedding that took place.
A visitor to the wedding, Ibraheem Sa’eedu, posted pictures of the occasion on Facebook with the caption:
“Finally the did has been done. I have witnessed ooo. Happy marriage life..tsoho.”
Similarly, Hussaini Duma Jagaba posted images of the couple on social media while pointing out that the groom said he doesn’t care about their marriage’s detractors because he and his new wife love one another.
“As I witnessed this wedding I pray may God save the marriage. 14 years and 95 years. For the interview we made with the old man yesterday after the wedding of Fatiha, he said whatever people said he don’t care about that because they love each other some people may think they force her or she married him because of money, people should stop thinking negative about there marriage,” he wrote.
