Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress, has declared her support for her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, who is facing a N500 million lawsuit from Naira Marley.
On Thursday of last week, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known by his stage name Naira Marley, dragged Iyabo to court.
He threatened to sue the actress for N500 million in damages unless she issued a public apology.
Naira filed a lawsuit, claiming that the mother of two defamed him on her Instagram page by posting malicious and false information about him.
Iyabo Ojo responded with a N1 billion counterclaim, claiming that the singer, through his attorney, had never considered it necessary to serve her the lawsuit in private because it was being shared online.
This is referred to as blackmail by the movie star, who is demanding N1 billion from the singer for purposefully misleading the public.
Tonto declared on her Instagram page that they would finish it together, expressing her support for her.
Tonto Dikeh wrote: “We started together, we end it together. Regardless”.
