Ogunbayo Karimot, the late Nigerian musician Mohbad’s sister-in-law, has weighed in on the DNA drama involving Mr. Joseph Aloba, the deceased’s father, and Omawumi Aloba, the deceased’s wife.
It was previously reported that Mohbad’s father had made an audio recording in which he explained why he insisted on a DNA test for his grandson.
In the most recent audio clip, he was heard replying to a woman’s enquiries on this contentious issue. He claimed that his decision to request a DNA test was motivated by a desire to appease the Nigerian the public.
Just hours after Mr. Joseph reaffirmed his call for a DNA test, a new video surfaced, escalating the current drama.
Mohbad’s wife’s sister spoke forward, emphasizing an important requirement: before proceeding with a DNA test for Liam, Mohbad’s son, they must first confirm the late singer’s true paternity.
She said;
“Before we can conduct DNA on Liam and Mohbad, we have to conduct DNA on Mohbad and his father, Joseph Aloba to be sure of his paternity. If we get a positive result then we can now proceed to getting a DNA on Liam and Mohbad.”
This comes just days after Abosede, the mother of the late artist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, insisted on her daughter-in-law, Wunmi, taking a DNA test for their son, Liam.
