Yul Edochie, a well known Controversial Nollywood actor, has caused a stir on social media with his latest advice on money and the certainty of death.
The actor, who launched an online church last year, turned to Instagram to express his views, pushing his fans to spend their money freely rather than hoard it.
In a video message, Yul, speaking in pidgin English, exhorted his supporters to “chop their money” and share it with those in need, threatening that if they don’t, someone else will spend it when they die.
His statements caused a flurry of emotions, with many fans voicing their displeasure.
Yul Edochie, known for his outspokenness, expanded on his beliefs by claiming that life was not as serious as people made it out to be, underlining that everyone would die eventually.
In his words:
“We’re all going to die. It’s only a matter of time. e go reach everybody.
“Life is really not that serious. Na we just dey take am too serious.
“That money wey you dey hide, bring am out, chop am well well.
“Share some to other people. If not, you go still leave am die.”
This perspective, coupled with his past controversial decisions, including taking a second wife, has led to a mixed reception from the public.
