Big Brother Naija level-up star, Dotun Oloniyo has denied reports of being gay, sparking sympathy from some netizens.
Recall that Dotun and his colleague, Deji Morafa had been accused of being sexually involved.
Reports first made the rounds online that Deji ended his relationship with his love interest in the house, Chichi, and was in a romantic relationship with a male housemate. It was later said that the housemate is Dotun.
Deji had blown hot in reaction to the allegations on Thursday morning, December 1, to debunk the claims as false.
Dotun has followed suit, stating that he is heterosexual (straight) and trolls should stop propagating lies about his sexuality. He wrote:
“It has come to my attention, on several accounts that some faceless accounts and troIls with faces have decided to take it upon themselves to discuss the sexual orientation of grown men, hereby sharing false narratives.
I’d like to clearly state that I am HETEROSEXUAL (Google is your friend).
No one should be forced to announce or put out their sexual orientation (however they identify) on social media but when lies and false narratives are being propagated, it’s important to clear up one’s name as whatever is online never leaves. Which is exactly why there’s a need for me to put this out.
Kindly refrain from tagging me or mentioning my name in lies regarding my sexual orientation.
I’d also like to thank my fans and all of those who love me. Let’s keep winning.”
