A brave Nigerian lady has ignited social media comments as she grabs a NEPA employee by the shirt after he cut her electricity and stole the cable wire, despite the fact that she had previously paid her NEPA bills.
The event was documented in a video captioned: “This is the second time this man is doing something like this! I mean, no one was home, and they had already paid for the month, but he came to cut the electricity.”
In the video, the lady is seen firmly grasping one of the two NEPA staff men by his shirt and pointing to the second service member who is holding her house cable or wire and refusing to let go.
The lady, who lives in Kogi state, promised to notify and report the problem to the state’s electrical distribution corporation.
The video, however, gained the attention of many social media users once it was uploaded.*
