Nathaniel Bassey, a Nigerian Gospel musician, prayed for Mercy Chinwo’s newborn, Charis Nduka Blessed.
Mercy and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, were visited by the ‘Hallelujah’ maestro to celebrate and bless their precious new addition to the family.
Nathaniel Bassey, beaming with joy, posted a photo of himself holding the baby with a wide smile on Instagram on Thursday.
He praised the newborn as a “prophetic child, crowned with grace and glory,” and wished the radiant couple heartfelt congratulations.
He stated:
“What a Joy! This bundle of Joy, and expression of God’s glory in the BLESSED family! Indeed SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE @mercychinwo & @theofficialblessed ! What a prophetic child! Baby Charis.
“Crowned with grace and glory. Congratulations to my brother and sister! Can I also prophesy that those trusting God for such a testimony will shout for joy soon, in Jesus’ name.”
Mercy and her husband expressed their gratitude to Nathaniel for the heartwarming visit in the post’s comments section, appreciating his thoughtful gesture.
“Thank you sir @nathanielblow for the honour💃💃baby @charisnblessed says thank you 💃we are grateful,” Mercy wrote.
“Thank you MOG for honoring us with your presence We are humbled by the love, support and prayers God bless you”, Blessed added.
Taking it a step further, Mercy Chinwo posted a video on her Facebook page of Nathaniel Bassey tenderly cradling the newborn baby.
She wrote:
“It was such an amazing day with you sir @nathanielblow !seeing you with our little one – sharing laughs, singing songs, and making those adorable baby noises – has been the highlight of our week Thank you for visiting, MOG, and especially for the prayers, and love. YoL visit wasn’t just a drop-by, it was a shower of joy and giggles in our home. VWe are grateful. Baby Charis @charisnblessed says thank you”
