A fan has voiced concern and curiosity over the unexpected silence of controversial singer Speed Darlington, sparking discussions among fans, colleagues, and social media users.
His unusual quietness follows his release from custody on October 8, after being detained for three days.
The arrest was linked to a series of videos in which Speed Darlington made defamatory remarks about Burna Boy and his family.
Recently, TikToker King Cndd expressed similar concerns in a video, questioning what might have caused Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, to become so uncharacteristically calm.
She said:
“Since wey dem release Akpi, e never say anything? For Akpi of all people to come out of that place and not say anything, e be like say dem don use Timberland take match hin mouth well well. Those people don do am wetin no good; hand don meet am well well. Make una check up on Akpi abi e still dey in shock? Make una check up on him o abeg.”
Recall that a few days back, Speed Darlington made headlines once again.
In a recent clip, Speed Darlington was spotted grooving to the hit track, ‘Tshwala Bam (Remix)’ which Burna Boy was featured in at a welcome party thrown by friends.
The clip capturing Speed Darlington’s celebratory night-out has gone viral, stirring varying comments from cybernauts who commented on the fact that Speed vibed to his arch-rival’s jam.
Reacting, One @ouchcleo wrote: “Baba no even dey reason the song. Na that money wey dem dey spray am his focus dey. So no one pick him money 😂😂😂😂😂😂.”
