Big Brother Naija winner, Whitemoney, has responded after being accused of wearing counterfeit designer shoes.
The reality star had recently shared a video on social media flaunting his collection of high-end footwear, including a pair of Louis Vuitton mules. However, a luxury fashion watchdog page posted a photo of him wearing the shoes, claiming the item was not authentic.
According to the page, the footwear appeared to be a knock-off, likely sourced from sites known for selling replica products.
In a light-hearted reaction, Whitemoney addressed the claims in a video, saying there’s no such thing as “fake shoes” in the footwear business — just different grades. Laughing off the controversy, he added that he proudly represents “Grade-A” shoes and even joked about being an ambassador for them.
His humorous and confident response has sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans backing his take while others continued to question the authenticity of his designer items.
“Ehn T20luxury, see another fake one,I never even wear am, this one even gets petals on top. See this one, this one is like Dior but the ‘I’ don commit.”
“I have plenty of shoes, this is just a portion of them. I’m even an ambassador for grade A shoes my brother. There’s nothing like fake, just grades my brother. If you give me the original, I will tell you thank you. I would be so appreciative, my brother. So help me, help me. I love you ehn.”
Sharing a video he captioned it, “Deleting soon 🔜 🧑🦯
