Iconic show host and broadcaster, Frank Edoho, will return as host of popular television game show, ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ after he was announced by the organizers of the event.
Frank was announced in an event at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, to inform journalists and members of the public about the return of the popular show which was last shown on television in 2017.
According to the organizers, the ultimate prize up for grabs is now N20m, and it would be broadcast for 52 weeks.
The show, which is tagged ‘The Rebirth’, will see contestants able to use a ‘lifeline’ of ‘asking the host’ whenever they get stuck, which is another addition to the show.
Other lifelines on the show are ’50-50’, ‘Call a Friend’, and ‘Ask the Audience’.
The show from its inception on October 8, 2004, until September 2, 2017, has been hosted by Frank Edoho.
