Nigerian singer Davido, is set to meet the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, today, October 12 to hold talks on ending the brutality on civilians by the police.
Davido made this announcement on his Twitter page on Sunday as urged all his fans to join him as he embarks on the move in Abuja.
“I am meeting with the Inspector General of Police tomorrow at 10 am …. All my colleagues if you can get to Abuja tomorrow before 10 am and follow me to the meeting! It would mean a lot,” he wrote.
The influential celebrity is expected to present the demands of the people to the IGP and request for the release of all protesters arrested and also compensate victims of police brutality.
