“Why would you name your kid that?”- Reactions as Rihanna reveals their son’s unique name ahead of first birthday

Ahead of his first birthday on May 13, legendary artist Robyn Rihanna Fenty officially reveals the name of her son.

As stated on the official certificate of live birth, the multiple award-winning singer and her partner A$AP Rocky named their first child RZA Athelston Mayers.

It appears that RZA, the music producer and head of the Wu-Tang Clan, served as inspiration for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky in choosing the name for their baby.

A$AP Rocky’s middle name, Rakim Athelaston Mayers, served as inspiration for the almost one-year-old’s middle name.

Since giving birth, Rihanna has been seen sporting RZA and Wu-Tang Clan apparel.

Twitter blog, @DailyLoud shared the news in a tweet captioned: “A$AP Rocky & Rihanna name their baby boy RZA Athelston Mayers after the leader of the legendary group Wu-Tang Clan.”

She announced her second pregnancy with A$AP Rocky during her energetic Super Bowl halftime performance in February.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are expecting second child

American singer and beauty mogul, Robyn Fenty better known as, Rihanna and her rapper boyfriend, ASAP Rocky are expecting their second child.

The Fenty CEO, revealed the good news while performing at Super Bowl Halftime show last night.

In one of the videos, Rihanna, who was dressed head-to-toe in bright Red, took to the stage to reveal her baby bump. The proud mother-to-be removed her jacket to show off her baby bump.

During the performance of her song, B**** Better Have My Money, the girlfriend of ASAP Rocky rubbed her stomach on stage.

Her management also confirmed the news, as they told multiple medias that the billionaire is expecting baby 2.

This is coming barely a year after the Barbados singer Rihanna welcomed her first child in May.
