Taking to her Instagram page, Blessing wrote;

Taking to her comment section, some ladies outlined why women aren’t comfortable with divorce. They opined that African women have been programmed to believe they cannot survive without men in their lives

healthyself_natural: Women have been raised to believe they are incomplete without a man, so alot of women feel very incomplete without a man, they will rather be unhappy as long as their is a man.. It is a very serious programming into women, that is why women who are breaking out of these programming are a threat to men and those who are protecting it..

billstheodora: You saying why are women afraid of Divorce as if they are scared shouldn’t be the issue here,the issue here is that the man is saying upon everything he is doing for the lady,she is not showing appreciation and when you do show appreciation it will make the man to do more,ekene dike nke ome,ome gini. preciouspeters82: For some, it’s self esteem… a woman may feel she’s too old now and will nvr find a man….for others, it’s validation, and I’ve seen this one alot amongst is Nigerian women, everyone is getting married…from age 18, a girl is thinking about marriage and how she must be married to be validated…for others it’s loneliness… being used to always having a partner by Urside that it becomes almost impossible imagining a separation. From wat I’m seeing in this video, the man keeps complaining of peace but most times, when a partner is not happy in a relationship there cant be peace. Peace of mind is very important for both of them…if he’s not getting it, he should leave. If she finds herself in a relationship where the man is not bringing out the best in her…leave too… marriage is supposed to be a partnership, building each other up. Forget the social stigma, ur happiness is important, dnt die in marriage… ur soul and happiness is more important to God than ur need to stay in a toxic and traumatic environment.
