On Monday, Executive Jet Services was suspended for flying Naira Marley and his team from Lagos to Abuja.
A video emerged showing Naira Marley hosting a concert at Jabi Lake Mall regardless of the flight and lockdown restrictions. There had been a lot of condemnations on social media about the video.
Mr. Sam Iwuajoku sent a letter to Minister of Aviation saying that the airline airlifted Naira Marley because of an identity mistake.
He said, from the names of passengers to be airlifted, there was no name like Naira Marley of Azeez Fashola, as they thought it was Mr. Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Works.
On June 13, 2020, the Lagos-Abuja-Lagos flight airlifted Adewunmi Segun, Chinonso Opara, Fashola Babatunde, Fashola Adeshina and Adeyeye Tobi to Abuja. Other included Michael Opeyemi, Idowu Emmanuel, Seyi Awonuga, Wisdom Intoto and Abayomi Akin.
