Damilola, an evicted Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, has revealed why fellow housemates chose to send her and her partner, Toyosi, packing.
According to reports, eight out of ten pairs voted to oust the Tami duo from Big Brother House on Sunday.
The duo was in the bottom four, alongside Streeze, Chekas, and The Radicals.
However, The Radicals were saved by the custodian’s NdiNne pair, who had selected the “save only” box.
The other housemates who were not up for eviction choose who nominees to send home, and the Tami duo was voted off.
Dami stated shortly after their eviction that the other housemates planned to send them home since they didn’t get along with them.
“I wasn’t surprised at the results tonight, because Tami has had issues with a lot of the housemates,” she informed Ebuka.
Meanwhile, Streeze won the custodian challenge on Sunday night.
As a result, they are immune from eviction this week.
The two will also have the ability to influence this week’s eviction nomination and Head of House challenge.
In other news, Nigerian artist Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has replied strongly to politician Joe Igbokwe’s criticism of his recent feud with his twin brother, Peter Okoye.
Joe Igbokwe had voiced his unhappiness on social media, criticizing the inability of the music duo, Psquare, to resolve their differences and collaborate.
Igbokwe’s essay emphasized a number of perceived failings, including their inability to trust, love, and reason together, as well as their struggles with managing their success, emotions, and familial ties.
He criticized the twins for what he described as “success without brains” and “education without character,” suggesting that their situation is a shameful example for others.
In his words:
“So shameful that two twin brothers Paul and Peter cannot work together, cannot love one another, they cannot trust each other, they cannot think together, they cannot reason together, they cannot forgive each other, they cannot manage their wives, they cannot manage their success story, they cannot control their emotions, they cannot manage their internal contradictions, even their wives could not help matters, what about their parents, their brothers and sisters, their Nnaochie? etc. This is shame. It pains me to no end. Now, are there no elders in the family? This is Success without brains. Education without character. Make shame catch us small na. When Gold rust what will Iron do? Ndi ara akwu eke. Awon werey.”
Rudeboy’s retort was blunt and scathing. He accused Igbokwe of contributing to the Nigeria’s problems, urging him to address more pressing issues like hunger.
Rudeboy’s response emphasized his frustration with Igbokwe’s interference in his personal life. He fired jabs at Joe Igbokwe’s father and further tagged him a foolish elder.
He wrote on his Instastories: “JOE IGBOKWE, your papa!!! Elder wey mumu Focus on the country wey you put mouth scatter!! People are hungry !!”
