Tems, the talented musician, has opened up about her incarceration in a Ugandan prison in 2020, describing it as a positive experience in disguise.
Alongside Omah Lay, she was apprehended by Ugandan authorities for purportedly flouting COVID-19 protocols following their performances at a concert in Kampala.
Fortunately, they were released from prison a few days later, thanks to the intervention of the Nigerian government.
In an interview with ES Magazine, Tems mentioned that the experience was an honorable one that taught her humility.
