‘Why I Made Up My Mind to Do Weight-Loss Surgery’ – Real Warri Pikin

Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoha, a well-known Nigerian actress and comedian also known as Real Warri Pikin, has opened up about her weight-loss surgery experience.

During a recent event, the comedian claimed that she chose the surgery after an embarrassing incident with a bank’s security system, telling how an automated bank security system mistaken her for numerous people due to her size.

In her words, “When I was plus-sized, one of the reasons I decided to have weight-loss surgery was an embarrassing situation at the bank.” I walked into the bank, and the next thing I heard was, ‘Step back, one at a time, one at a time’.”

Real Warri Pikin revealed that, despite receiving accolades for appearing better and younger after surgery, she is coping with the repercussions of the procedure.

Real Warri Pikin stated, “Everyone says I look better and younger after the surgery, but they don’t understand what I’m going through. My breasts have gotten sloppy.

Recall that Real Warri Pikin flaunted her new looks on social media last year after undergoing a weight-loss surgery.

Warri Pikin had earlier regretted opening up on weight loss journey

The comedian divulged that she had numerous health problems as a result of her weight before having the gastric sleeve surgery.

She also got candid about some of the challenges she faced even after the successful surgery.

The comedian disclosed during an interview with Ghanaian journalist Doreen Avio on JoyNews that she frequently needed to be hospitalized due to her severe illness struggles.

According to Warri Pikin, this had an impact on her capacity to perform and support herself.

The comedian-turned-actress said, “It wasn’t easy at all,” adding that she was unable to appear in comedic events and had to return some money that had been paid to her.

She acknowledged that she regretted the unfavorable comments she had gotten and that she had questioned her decision to give further details about her transformation.

Warri Pikin added that she has come to understand that people find it difficult to accept change.
