Award-winning singer, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has spoken about his recent unexpected reunion with Colleague, Wizkid and how fans used the beef they caused for their own entertainment.
Recall that the superstars met at Quilox night club in Lagos on 21st January, 2022, and from the clips they spent so much time hugging, whispering into each other’s ears.
While some fans jubilate over the new development, others claimed Davido hugged Big Wiz as if he had missed the singer’s company.
While speaking recently on in interview with BBC, the 29-year-old singer opened up about the criticisms that trailed his reunion with WIzkid.
The ‘Champion sound’ crooner said the reason he seemed more excited at Quilox Club was because he hadn’t seen Wizkid in 4 years before their unexpected reunion.
Also during the interview, Davido recognised that his 30BG Fans and Starboy’s Wizkid FC played a big role in their supposed beef and that they were using their lives for their own entertainment.
He explained further by saying that the beef was now no longer about the artistes but the fans, seeing as they formed their own different cliques.
