American rapper Curtis Jackson, widely recognized as 50 Cent, has stated that he declined a $3 million proposal to perform at a rally for Republican Party candidate Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden in New York.
He made this revelation during an interview on The Breakfast Club.
50 Cent mentioned that he received a call and was also invited to perform his track ‘Many Men, Wish Death’ at this year’s Republican National Convention for a comparable amount.
He elaborated that he chose to reject these offers due to his apprehension regarding the contentious nature of politics.
“I didn’t even go far… I didn’t talk to them about that kinda stuff. I’m afraid about politics.
“It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you,” he said.
In other news, Reality television personality Shaun became emotional as he was presented with a N20 million cheque, full tuition for a drama school in London, and a variety of lavish gifts from his supporters in celebration of his birthday.
Having recently celebrated his birthday, Shaun, who participated in the recently concluded season 9 of BBNaija, was met with overwhelming support from his fans.
