Blaqbonez, a Nigerian singer and rapper, boasts about his creative abilities, claiming to be the best video director in comparison to TG Omori.
TG Omori is a well-known and well-paid music video director in Nigeria.
This discussion arises after Blaqbonez and TG Omori were both nominated for “Best Music Video” at the 16th Headies Awards.
While TG Omori was nominated for directing the music video for Fireboy DML feat. Asake’s song “Bandana,” Blaqbonez was nominated for co-directing the music video for “Back In Uni.”
Their nomination in the same category sparked a social media debate over who was more powerful, them or their followers.
Featuring on Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show co-hosted by reality star, Tacha, Blaqbonez bragged that he is a better director than TG Omori.
Tacha asked: “Do you think you are a better video director than TG Omori?”
He said, “To be honest, I don’t think anybody is better than me at anything. So, it’s a very interesting question to pose.
“I believe that I’m one of the most creative human beings and if I put my mind to it, I will be the best at any field that involves creativity. So, the answer is definitely yes. I’m better than everybody.”
