Chidimma Adetshina, a contestant in Miss South Africa, is reluctant to head back to South Africa anytime soon.
She faced backlash after being announced and later withdrew from the pageant due to allegations against her mother involving fraud and identity theft.
Now, she has accepted an invitation to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
Since arriving in Nigeria, she has expressed her happiness and a desire to stay in her father’s homeland.
In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Adetshina stated, “I’m not looking forward to going back to South Africa. I want to explore more and stay longer to see what happens next.”
