    • The statement follows ongoing speculations about his alleged deportation following a tribunal and allegations of financial mismanagement and misconduct.

Controversial Nigerian cleric Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has addressed rumors concerning his alleged deportation from the United Kingdom to Nigeria.

The founder of SPAC Nation Church spoke on the matter during a live interview with media figure Daddy Freeze. This discussion arose amidst ongoing speculation regarding his supposed deportation, which followed a tribunal and allegations of financial mismanagement and misconduct.

In his remarks, Pastor Tobi refuted the claims, asserting his right to reside in any country he chooses. He remarked, “What’s my own with you? I’m a citizen of a country I want to be in because money makes you have a choice, and poverty makes you beg.”

He mentioned that he had been “ambushed” during a legal process related to immigration but claimed to have encountered an unusual judicial panel consisting of five all-white judges. He also indicated his intention to publish transcripts of the proceedings, underscoring his confidence in the eventual outcome.

Regarding his connection to Nigeria, Pastor Tobi stated, “Why would I be afraid to come to Nigeria? The current government is doing well; anyone who says otherwise can jump off the bridge.”

He further conveyed his willingness to return to Nigeria, asserting that he would come accompanied by a group of “fine young men and women” and uphold a high standard of living. The cleric also condemned those seeking to damage his reputation, labeling the allegations as demeaning.

“What’s my own with you? I’m a citizen of a country I want to be in because money makes you have a choice, and poverty makes you beg. I was ambushed; ask anyone who has had immigration problems before if they’ve seen five all-white judges before. I did; the transcript will be out.

“I will share with you how many countries who have written to us; they want us there. Why would I be afraid to come to Nigeria? And the current government is doing well; anyone who says otherwise can jump off the bridge.

“If I arrive in Nigeria, I will arrive in Nigeria with a calvary of fine young men and women and we will live better than we’re living in our assignment ground. Two shoes or three will sustain me for three years in Nigeria which we invested in. It is belittling; that is what they want to do.”
