Afrobeat artist Magixx has earnestly requested his fans and followers to refrain from labeling him as “underrated.”

In a recent post on X, Magixx highlighted the significance of language and its influence on his brand and self-image.

He expressed his intention to redirect attention from what he may be lacking to the accomplishments he is realizing as an artist.

He wrote: “And pls stop joining them to say magixx is underrated, words are powerful! Thanks”.

In other news, Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has criticized music legend 2baba, also known as 2face, regarding his recent appearance at the Edo State Assembly.

According to Gistlover, 2face’s presence at the Assembly sparked significant attention. The artist, who publicly declared his separation from his wife and the mother of two of his children last month, appeared to confirm his relationship with Edo State politician Natasha Osawaru during this visit. A widely circulated video captured 2face taking his seat amidst a crowd eager to see him.

In a post on his Instagram account, Uche condemned 2face’s actions, labeling them as inappropriate. He acknowledged 2baba’s talent but criticized him as an inconsiderate husband. Maduagwu suggested that such behavior contributed to 2baba’s failure to secure a Grammy for his well-known track, “African Queen.”

Maduagwu asserted that 2baba cannot repay those who have supported him negatively and still expect his music career to flourish on an international scale. He also expressed curiosity about the musician’s hasty announcement of his divorce and questioned what he might be concealing from the public.

Additionally, he raised concerns about 2baba’s treatment of Annie, whom he described as a commendable woman, highlighting her unwavering support for him and his music career over the years, as well as her loyalty, patience, and fidelity.

“2baba is a Great DAD but a very INSENSTIVE Husband Material. 🙄 Na this character no make you win #Grammys with “AFRICAN QUEEN” song in 2004. You can not repay those who HELP you like this and expect your #music career to grow internationally. The real question is this: why did 2baba rush like Hausa #Perfume to tell Nigerians his Marriage no work again without even discussing it with Annie? What exactly is 2baba hiding from the public? Why will a man Embrrass a #Good woman who has supported him and his music career for years, been loyal, Toler*nt, and Faithful to him for years? What exactly is 2baba hiding from us?”
