The West African Examinations Council has given assurance that it would release the results of its 2018 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination in 45 days.
The council’s Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Damianus Ojijeogu, made thisdisclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday in Lagos.
He further disclosed that the needed technology had been deployed to some marking venues to assist in scanning the scripts, noting that this would facilitate the marking of the scripts and impact positively on the early release of the results.
He also said the Council would deploy technology that would help detect malpractice in its objective questions.
Concerning the conduct of the exam, Mr Ojijeogu said the Council is satisfied with the conduct of the examination noting that it was hitch free.
