Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, a Nigerian musician and songwriter, stated on Instagram that the year 2023 was difficult one for him.
In his message, he stated that “2023 you show me shege, 24 be good to me” and that he is now looking forward to a better 2024, hoping that it would be good to him.
This attitude might be tied to the death of his mother, Dolapo Balogun, who died on August 18, 2023 in London.
Wizkid’s tweet regarding 2023 piqued the interest of his followers, who responded in the comments section.
