Wizkid Denies Shading Davido, Chioma

Wizkid, a popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, denies charges of disparaging his colleague Davido and his wife Chioma, stating that his outburst is about his own development as a father, partner, lover, and a believer of God.

The musician, who is presently with his manager, Jada Pollock, with whom he had two boys, claimed that his love for God and his family has grown.

In the face of accusations of ridiculing his colleague’s wedding, he reiterated that he has no ill intent toward anybody and wishes everyone the best.

Wizkid made these comments in reaction to social media rumors that his recent tweets were intended for his soon-to-be-married colleague Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland.

The Starboy stated that his tweets were just a “daily rant on how much I love my family.”

In a series of tweets, he wrote;

“Y’all so foolish. Don’t mix up my tweets. I wish everybody well. Smoke a joint before u read any of my tweets moving forward.

“lol ok let me explain where I’m at to you guys. I love God more now, love family, Love self and no hate in my heart for no man. Don’t mix my tweets up. Smoke a joint pls my babies.”

He added, “Now Enjoy your day my babies! Daddy loves you ! Spread love”
