“Wizkid is the number 1 before others” -Samklef shades Davido

Sam Klef, a controversial media personality and musician, recently took to Twitter to criticize Davido, sparking a new round of debate in the Nigerian music scene.

He made a somewhat ambiguous comment, claiming that Wizkid is Nigeria’s number one artist.

According to Sam Klef, the basis for this allegation is Wizkid’s peers’ respect and admiration for him.

This fairly veiled shadow was interpreted as a swipe at Davido, especially in light of the two’s brief online spat the day before.

This feud arose as a result of a video that surfaced showing Davido and his wife, Chioma, with their twins.

Davido was quick to notice that Sam Klef had been one of the initial individuals to post the video, and he reached out to request that it be taken down.

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, slammed music producer/singer Samklef for posting a video of him, his partner Chioma, and their twins.

Earlier this week, news surfaced that Davido and Chioma had given birth to twins. Davido, for his part, has been silent on the matter, leaving netizens to speculate if it is genuine or not.

In a recent development, Samklef took to his Instagram page to dispel netizens’ suspicions by providing a video of the power couple with their twins.

He also congratulated the couple on the birth of their twins.

In his words:

“Oya it’s official congratulations to @davido x @thechefchi double blessings. One boy one girl noni.”

While netizens were excited over the clip, Davido took to the comment section to express disapproval over the post.

He described Samklef as a wicked person, telling him to delete the video immediately.
