Wizkid Openly Celebrates Flavour’s Birthday after Snubbing Davido’s

Flavour, a Nigerian musician who is well respected in the continent of Africa, turns plus one today and he has been receiving different congratulatory messages from his fans, friends, family members and entertainment industry colleagues.

Amongst his colleagues who wished Flavour a happy birthday are Wizkid, Yemi Alade, CDQ and many others. However, Wizkid’s laudatory message caught our eyes because it was unusual for him to do so. He doesn’t just snoop his fellow musician’s page to drop a comment.

Gistlover had on Sunday reported Davido clocked 29 years. Nigerians and his loved ones in other parts of the world felicitated with him. His birthday was significant because of the philanthropic gesture he displayed days before the birthday.

Despite Davido’s well-publicised social media activities ahead of his birthday, Wizkid kept mum online, acted as if he was unaware of his bighearted move of donating the 200 million Naira he raised from his 1 million Naira social media challenge, and 50 million Naira of his own money, totaling 250 million Naira, to orphanages in Nigeria. Also, Wizkid snubbed Davido’s birthday on November 21.

Extolling Flavour on his 38th birthday today, Wizkid wrote, “Long life! Plenty blessings brother,” as a comment on the throwback photo shared by the self-titled Ijele (Flavour).

Is the rivalry between Wizkid and Davido still in existing or the ‘Essence’ crooner only prefers to distance himself from anything Davido?
