Nigerians on social media have berated multi-award winning artist, Wizkid for tweeting about his music during the ongoing June12th protest around the country.
This comes after the singer took to his verified Twitter handle, tweeting about his newly released single, Lagos docuseries. He wrote; ‘#ASuperstarMadeInLagos docuseries now out! Shout out @YouTube’
Displeased by this, some Nigerians who are actively participating via tweeting on the ongoing Nationwide protest on June 12, slammed the singer for being a hypocrite, as he came for Reekado Banks for doing the same during #EndSARS protests.
In reaction to the tweet, many Nigerians stormed the comment section of the singer to attack him.
One MGAB wrote; ”You bloody bastard! Nigeria is burning, plus, #June12thProtest, and it’s this filth you choose to promote. You called Reekado Banks fools the other time remember? Keep the same energy short devil.”
One Bandito wrote; ‘‘Wrong timing. You stood for the protests in October. No hash tags to increase engagement tho”
One Tom Marvolo Riddle wrote; ‘‘this guy’s an idiot. Reekado banks did something similar and you were condescending. Evidence 101 that these celebrities don’t care. Everything they Reekado Banks Dumps He and Wizkid’s Song for Calling Him a Fooldo is posturing and PR”
One Immunenigerian wrote; ”Read the room small antelope You berated Reekado the other day for the same thing you’re doing”
Fine Ikwere wrote; ”Take this shit down, Read the fucking room.
