Wizkid Throws Shade Just A Day To Davido’s Wedding To Chioma

Afrobeats musician Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has sparked controversy with a recent cryptic tweet ahead of his colleague Davido’s wedding to his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.

Davido revealed a few days ago that he and Chioma would marry on June 25 in Lagos, despite recent claims of infidelity against the musician.

On Sunday evening, the DWW boss posted pre-wedding photos with Chioma on social media.

His colleague, Wizkid, caused a frenzy after tweeting “Lol [laughing out loud]” moments after Davido released his pre-wedding photos.

According to some fans, the Starboy record label head tweeted again on Monday morning, June 24, in what looked to be a dig at his rival, Davido.

On his X handle, Wizkid wrote:

“Saying A Prayer For Every Understanding Woman On Earth! Your King Loves You.”

His post elicited mixed reactions, with many insinuating that he was shading Davido’s soon-to-be wife, Chioma, who has been very understanding with the singer despite cheating allegations.

Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, confirmed in a recent statement that she and the singer rekindled their romance between 2020 to 2022, which is the same period the DMW boss was also courting his fiancée, Chioma.
