Wizkid Visits Reekado Banks’ New Lounge Years After Dragging Him Online

Nigerian singer Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, recently backed Reekado Banks, also known as Ayoleyi Solomon, in his new business venture.

In several videos shared online, Wizkid was spotted arriving at Reekado Banks’ lounge alongside Shallipopi. Reekado greeted them at the door, and the Ozumba Mbadiwe artist hugged the Star Boy.

Additional parts of the video displayed Wizkid entering the lounge, checking out the surroundings, and then sitting down to have a drink while conversing with Reekado Banks.

It’s important to note that Wizkid and Reekado Banks’ relationship soured in 2020. Wizkid took to Twitter to call Reekado a fool for promoting their collaboration during the EndSARS protests.

Reekado Banks had tweeted:

In response to his tweet, Wizkid wrote:

“Delete this dude! Can’t believe you are even doing this at a time like this. Old song! #endsars fool!”

The intense reply from Wizkid created a lot of buzz, as netizens felt he was overly critical of Reekado Banks.

Reekado had been part of Don Jazzy’s team and departed from Mavin Records on December 7, 2018, after five years.
