Mrs. Peace Livinus, who recently expressed her distress on Facebook regarding an alleged physical assault by her husband due to her choice of attire at their child’s school, has defended her husband in a follow-up live video.
In her initial post, she detailed her experience, displaying injuries purportedly caused by her husband, which led to significant public outrage and calls for action from social media users and advocacy organizations.
However, in her most recent video, Mrs. Livinus read a statement exonerating her husband and requested that the public refrain from interfering in their marital matters.
She also disclosed that her husband had taken her to a hospital in Warri for medical attention, noting that her health has greatly improved.
Mrs. Livinus assured viewers that she has returned to her home, where she is being well cared for and feels at peace.
Furthermore, she issued a firm warning to government agencies, bloggers, and social media users, urging them not to “harm or stress” her husband in relation to the incident.
“Going against my husband’s orders was what led to my husband’s actions. He has never done a thing to me like this since we got married. After the incident, he has taken me to the hospital in Warri for treatment.
“My sight is perfectly in order and better than yesterday when I posted the video. I want to inform the public that I am at my matrimonial home in peace and well taken care of.
“Finally, I thank everyone who showed concern for my well-being. I must testify that I do not regret marrying my husband; Mr Livinus never wanted to harm and I don’t want any harm to happen to him because of these issues.
“I, Mrs Peace Livinus order that no one, organizations or bloggers should harm or stress my husband on this issue.”
