She spoke about her experience on a podcast led by the well-known preacher, Apostle Femi Lazarus from Sphere of Light Church.
The woman stated that her troubles started when she visited the pastor’s church for the first time, looking for spiritual help during a tough period. After receiving prayers as a newcomer, she contacted the pastor and shared her most personal secret with him. This was the start of what she called a terrifying experience.
She claimed that the pastor asked her to come to his office, where he offered her a bottle of water that made her feel lightheaded. During this meeting, he revealed his inappropriate feelings for her.
The woman turned down the pastor’s advances and left, but the harassment reportedly got worse with calls, messages, and unwanted explicit photos from him.
She said the pastor asked her to come to his office again, giving her another bottle of water that was already opened. After she drank it, she claimed he took advantage of her.
The podcast revelation has caused anger, leading many to demand an investigation into the claims and tougher accountability for spiritual leaders.
