In a bizarre incident caught on tape, a woman was seen wheeling a deceased man into a bank in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, seeking to acquire a loan in her name by having the corpse sign off on it, according to Daily Mail.
Bank employees became suspicious when the woman held up the pale-looking man’s head and asked him to sign the paperwork.
As the scenario unfolded, staff began filming and finally contacted authorities, who were concerned about the peculiar circumstances.
Despite the woman’s efforts to hold up the deceased’s head and encourage him to sign, spectators saw something was wrong.
One bank employee had reservations about the man’s pallor, to which the wife reacted casually, maintaining he was “like that.”
The woman persevered in her attempts, even attempting to insert a pen into the deceased’s hand and help him through the signing process.
During the bizarre encounter, she addressed the deceased and offered to take him to the hospital if he felt ill, displaying a disconcerting disconnection from reality.
