“Women supporting women” – Ike throws jabs at Mercy Eke

Big Brother Naija 2019 and 2022 star Ike Onyema has mocked a female colleague who used to be his ex-girlfriend, Mercy Eke.

He noted that women frequently discuss how they will support one other until one of them wins something important or life-changing, at which point everything changes.

Ike posted the taunting tweet on Monday, October 16, after Mercy’s interview with Hero Daniels went viral.

She had lamented about her friends abandoning her during the BBNaija All Stars season, when she most needed them.

Mercy, the “Pepper Dem” season champion, revealed that she only wanted to be more successful, which is why she returned to the popular show.

The 33-year-old sobbed as she bared her heart, stating that she received no support from her friends while in the BBNaija home, and that it was only her fans that rallied behind her.

The reality TV star went on to claim that, despite the fact that there had previously been two winners, people were entirely focused on her, despite the fact that the only fault she committed was wanting more, which she believes isn’t such a bad thing.

In a not-so-subtle dig at her, Ike used the hashtag #crocodile to imply that he was shedding crocodile tears.

He tweeted; “Women supporting women, until it’s another woman turn. #crocodile #Queenmaker #Godfather.”
