The accomplice of alleged fraudster Hushpuppi, Woodberry has also hired a criminal defense lawyer from Chicago to represent him at court.
Woodberry has hired one of Chicago’s top lawyers called Micheal Nash. Micheal Nash has been practicing law for 55 years now and is one of the best. This news was revealed by an international media platform Premium Times.
Woodberry was arrested alongside his partner Hushpuppi in the apartment of Hushpuppi at Dubai. The two are currently held at the United States of America after they were expedited from Dubai.
Woodberry is facing criminal accusations on wire fraud conspiracy at the district court in the States. Woodberry first appearance in court was on the 3rd July 2020 and the preliminary hearing was set for Thursday, July 16th. It has been reported that, Woodberry used a fake name called Mark Kain to dupe a lot of companies in the United States through Business Email Compromise schemes.
