Wumi Toriola celebrates as her Film breaks records, earns N365.4 million in box office

  • Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola celebrated on Instagram after her movie, Queen Lateefah, broke seven records.
    • The film broke several records, including the highest grossing Nollywood release for a non-festival period, the highest opening weekend, the 7th highest grossing film of all time, and the highest grossing September release.

    Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has taken to her Instagram account to celebrate the remarkable achievement of her film, Queen Lateefah, which has set seven new records.

    In her post, she highlighted the film’s significant milestones, including: ‘Highest Grossing Nollywood Release for a non-festive period’, ‘Highest Opening Weekend for a non-holiday season’, ‘7th highest grossing film of all time’, and ‘Highest Grossing September Release of all time’, among others.

    She wrote, “Thank you to all the incredible Nigerians and Laterfanzz who made “Queen Lateefah” a massive success during its cinema run.

    Hitting 365.4 million at the box office and ranked as the 7th highest grossing Nollywood title of all time

    This was all possible because of your unwavering support.

    Your love and dedication mean the world to us!”

    In other news, US-based Nigerian actor Funsho Adeolu is commemorating his 20th wedding anniversary with his wife today.

    To celebrate this significant occasion, the actor shared a heartfelt video featuring himself and his wife on his Instagram page.

    He expressed his commitment to providing his wife with a lifetime filled with love and joy.

    Adeolu wrote:
