Wumi Toriola, a Nollywood actress, criticizes colleagues for the breaking news and reveals the cause of her fellow actor Sisi Quadri’s demise.
It should be noted that Sisi Quadri’s sudden death was disclosed on Friday by his colleague Tunde Olayusuf via Instagram.
However, a rumour emerged claiming that the young actor died of kidney failure, as reported by blogger Seun Oloketuyi on his Instagram page.
Following his death, videos and photos of Sisi Quadri on his deathbed surfaced online, causing Wumi Toriola much distress.
On her Instagram feed, she begged her colleagues to respect the departed and avoid revealing his family’s vulnerable moments.
She emphasised the necessity of being thoughtful, particularly during the burial, and cautioned against adding to their pain.
In her words;
“Pls let’s respect the dead, let’s not show their vulnerable moments.
Pls, be civil if you have their moments, especially during the burial. Don’t be forming a news breaker on top of people’s pain.
“To my colleagues who like to do first-time break news, in your breaking pls respect their vulnerable moments.
I am in pain, if you come for me I will use this pain to storm you.
Rest in peace, Sisi Quadri.
We love you so much, God loves you most”.
