X User Slams Seyi Law For Criticizing Gov Zulum Over Tax Reform Bills

Nigerian comedian Seyi Law, whose real name is Oluwaseyitan Lawrence Aletile, is making headlines again after a heated exchange with a social media user.

He challenged Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state for his remarks about the Tax Reform Bills.

The governor claimed that the bill would only benefit Lagos and Rivers states, not the north, and requested more time before it takes effect.

Seyi Law responded by saying that Zulum should not hold the South-West region back because of these bills, adding that the arguments of those defending their leaders, including Zulum, have lost their value.

In response to Seyi Law’s tweet, @IamEkene_ on X said Seyi was mistaken for discussing Zulum like that. He noted that Seyi is not Zulum’s state governor and could lose his job over his comments.

If that occurs, he might need to return to Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Tinubu, to exchange his empty thoughts or resume his dry humor.

The comedian, who serves as a senior special assistant on Entertainment and Tourism to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, stood firm in his disagreement with Ekene and replied to his tweet:

“Your head is as big as Ekenedilichukwu yet devoid of a functioning brain.”

The X user bragged about his grandfather’s connection with the boss of Ekenedilichukwu Motors and shared the amount his mother got from him. He further dragged Seyi Law to filth in his response to the comedian.

“Ekenedilichuku Motors gave my mum N5000 when I was born because he was best friends with my grandfather, Izuchukwu Motors. You are possibly the most successful miscreant in your lineage and still a nuisance. Your jokes are still dry and worse still they come with halitosis. Word of advice: No loose guard this otimkpu job you have. Aguu di na obodo(Hunger dey ooh).
