Xxxtentacion Murder Suspect Begs Judge to Let Him Out Of Jail
The third suspect arrested for the murder of singer, XXXTentacion, is reportedly asking a judge to let him out on bail.
According to TMZ, Robert Allen, 22, insists there’s no proof he committed a crime and believes he should be released so he can take care of his pregnant fiancée.
He promises he will go back to work at a Broward County, Florida lawn care business.
Allen was indicted for first-degree murder by a grand jury along with Dedrick Williams, Trayvon Newsome and Michael Boatwright. All four remain in custody.
Meanwhile, XXXTentacion’s last album, ?, just reached platinum status. The album which was released roughly three months before his death, ? debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 131,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
The project was certified gold on June 26 — eight days after X’s death — and officially reached platinum certification on August 7.
The music video for “SAD!” which was released posthumously, took the single to No. 1 on the Hot 100 shortly after its release.
XXXTentacion was killed on June 28 outside of RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida during what his lawyer believed was a “random robbery.”
Fans had a chance to say goodbye to the slain 20-year-old at a public, open-casket memorial in June.
