Yemi Alade, a well-known Nigerian singer, recently discussed her 14-year music career, highlighting the obstacles, successes, and growth that have influenced her journey.
The talented artist, famous for her energetic shows and hit songs, talked about her determination and love for music.
She made her mark in the industry with her first song, ‘Fimile’, with Eldee The Don in 2010, and has continued to thrive ever since.
“Officially, I have been in the industry for 14 years, counting from when I released my first song titled, ‘Fimisile’, and featuring Eldee tha Don,” she said.
As she pondered her journey, she stressed her unwavering affection for music, considering it as a natural talent and a strong motivation that has pushed her ahead.
“I love music. It is actually the one thing that I am gifted at. I am deeply rooted and connected to music. It has chosen me as its messenger,” Yemi Alade said.
“The music industry has always been tough, even before I showed any interest in it. And, it will continue to be tough. However, it is said that ‘tough times never last but tough people do’. I believe that the strongest will always survive,” Yemi Alade added.
