Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has provided an update regarding Adura, the younger brother of the late singer Mohbad, following concerns about his sudden disappearance.
Earlier reports revealed that Mohbad’s mother had raised an alarm, claiming Adura was missing and accusing Yomi Fabiyi of being involved. However, it later came to light that Adura had been taken into police custody.
In a recent video, Fabiyi clarified that Adura was rearrested by the police over alleged suspicions surrounding his involvement in Mohbad’s death. According to the actor, Adura was taken to Zone Two, and he pledged to share more details about the case at the appropriate time.
Fabiyi recounted a moment when Adura clung to their father’s legs, pleading as police officers attempted to take him away. He added that a police officer from Panti contacted him and requested his presence for a meeting with the new deputy commissioner of police.
The actor stressed that Adura’s alleged role in Mohbad’s tragic passing could no longer be ignored. He also addressed ongoing accusations from Mohbad’s mother, who continues to call him out publicly.
Fabiyi explained that the investigation initially began in Panti, which is why it has been redirected there. It’s worth recalling that during a press conference months ago, Adura had denied any involvement in his brother’s death and offered an explanation about how Mohbad’s phone came into his possession.
