Many people’s hearts have warmed up online after watching a beautiful moment of Nigerian Afrobeat singer Adekunle Gold Kosoko and his daughter Deja.
Adekunle Gold, who just dropped his first single, “The life I chose,” was spotted talking to Deja in their native Yoruba, demonstrating the close relationship between the father and daughter.
The musician requested his daughter to say her name in Yoruba in the video. Asking, “Kini Oruko e? translating into English, “What’s your name?”Deja responded, “Oruko mi ni Deja Morewa Kosoko’ meaning “My name is Deja Morewa Kosoko”.
The 3-year-old girl’s phonetically expressive Yoruba speech was the video’s high point and sparked comments from viewers on social media.
