Just after The Nigerian politician, businessman and philanthropist, Atiku Abubakar GCON expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the late Uwa Omozuwa, over her rape and murder, fans reacted as he added to his post, saying;
” It is time we reviewed the laws on rape to ensure that there are no escape routes in the investigation, prosecution, conviction and adequate punishment for this heinous crime. -AA”
Last Wednesday evening, a church security guard found Uwa, as she is known, unconscious in a pool of blood, according to her family.
She was rushed to hospital but died on Saturday afternoon.
