Social media commentator and activist Vincent Martins Otse, widely recognized as Verydarkman, has expressed his views on the ongoing conflict between gospel artist Mercy Chinwo-Blessed and her former record label executive, EeZee Tee.

After reviewing Mercy Chinwo’s account of the situation, Verydarkman has concluded that she is not being entirely honest and is instead employing emotional manipulation to influence public perception.

Having been involved in the church for over a decade and possessing a deep understanding of the gospel music industry, Verydarkman asserts that he can discern Mercy Chinwo’s strategies.

He claims that the video released by Mercy Chinwo was extensively edited, containing approximately 15 cuts and transitions, which indicates a lack of sincerity in her presentation.

Verydarkman argues that the core issue of the dispute revolves around the ownership of Mercy Chinwo’s music catalog, which is currently held by her former label, EeZee Conceptz.

He emphasizes that it is common practice within the music industry for record labels to retain ownership of an artist’s work.

Additionally, Verydarkman has challenged Mercy Chinwo’s assertion that EeZee Tee falsified their contract, suggesting that any amendments made to the document were conducted with the awareness and presence of both parties involved.

Moreover, he has urged Mercy Chinwo to substantiate her claim that EeZee Tee compensated bloggers to disseminate rumors regarding her child’s resemblance to another gospel artist, Nathaniel Bassey.

Verydarkman has also questioned why Mercy Chinwo chose to address these issues only after the conflict with EeZee Tee became public.

Furthermore, he criticized Mercy Chinwo for referencing Pastor Jerry Eze, the organizer of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), in her video.

He contends that Mercy Chinwo is aware of Pastor Eze’s substantial following and is attempting to leverage this to her benefit by insinuating that EeZee Tee harbors animosity towards the pastor.

Verydarkman asserts that Mercy Chinwo is seeking to gain the backing of Pastor Eze’s followers in an effort to sway them against EeZee Tee.
