“You Go Explain Tire” Shatta Bundle begs EFCC after spraying naira at an event in Nigeria

Shatta Bandle, a popular figure, appeared to have encountered issues with EFCC due to his public flaunting of the Nigerian currency while in Nigeria.

Shatta Bandle, who attended the funeral of Nollywood actor John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu, was spotted enjoying himself at another gathering.

A viral video of the small-sized star showering Naira at a gathering grabbed the attention of authorities.

The Ghanaian star has, however, apologized in a video to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the people of Nigeria for squandering the Naira; similar behavior resulted in the arrest of crossdresser Bobrisky.

Shatta Bandle, who is now back in Ghana, described the rationale for his actions, stating that he began by spraying cash but then converted to Naira after he ran out of US currency, resulting in a breach of Nigerian law.

He further stated that he respects the EFCC and Nigerian laws, referring to Nigeria as his second home.

In other news, Rema’s debut album ‘Raves & Roses’ has reached a remarkable milestone, breaking 100 weeks on the Billboard 200 Global Chart, thanks to the mega-hit track ‘Calm Down.’

This achievement puts Rema’s ‘Raves & Roses’ second only to Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos,’ which has spent 133 weeks in the charts.

Rema’s recent accomplishment adds to the multiple records he set with ‘Calm Down,’ including a Guinness World Record for being the first song to reach No. 1 on the MENA chart.

‘Calm Down’ has had a huge impact in the United States, attaining the highest peak (#3) for a song by a Nigerian artist on the Billboard Hot 100 and having the longest charting presence (almost 52 weeks) by any Nigerian artist.

Furthermore, ‘Calm Down’ has been certified 4X RIAA Platinum and became the first African song to reach 1 billion streams in the United States, a watershed moment for the Nigerian music business.
