Actress Eberechukwu Bayray Nwizu revealed that in order to get cast in Nollywood roles, one must possess a Brazilian Butt Lift, or BBL.
The actress claims that BBL is now a prerequisite for women to get movie roles from certain producers in Nigeria’s film industry.
This revelation was recently revealed by Bayray Nwizu in an interview with TVC’s Wake Up Nigeria.
She claimed that although the Nollywood film industry has expanded financially and in terms of infrastructure over time, there has been a decline in raw talent since producers are increasingly choosing social media celebrities to market their films.
She said that while producers must make a profit, there must also be balance.
Nwizu said, “Ten years ago, it was you’re not fair enough, you’re not tall enough, you’re not full enough; now it’s you don’t have BBL.
“The good news is that now you don’t have to conform to them. You can take advantage of any of the streaming platforms, start creating your own content, and grow. We don’t have any excuses anymore. There are always going to be those who say, you have to do this to be in my movie.”
